At times, I hold back select puppies from exceptional pedigrees as potential additions to future generations of my program. These decisions are made with great care, as I evaluate each puppy’s development over time. Observing temperament, trainability, structure, and overall potential through early training, continued exposure, and ongoing assessment. Through the years I have let many gems (puppies) go to families that were stellar representations of the bred! While I love this for families it also reflected on the importance that I allow time and grace to truly keep the best back for my program for future families as well. Thus I now keep little ones for longer to not rush this process.
As these puppies mature and reveal more of who they are in mind body and spirt, I may determine that one is better suited for a carefully selected home. When that happens, an older puppy may become available.
Because I am the sole caretaker behind every aspect of this program, I remain highly selective in what I choose to retain and what I choose to release. This ensures that I can fully dedicate the time, structure, and intention required to properly develop each dog while upholding the standards I have set.
While it can be disappointing to need to wait for a future puppy, the wait is worth it. I am extremely selective, keeping only the top-tier puppies whose quality, temperament, structure & more potential align with the highest standards of my program. As a result, each puppy reflects a level of quality that goes beyond expectations. One I would confidently choose for my own family and be proud to share with others.
